Know Your Cost!

The amount you need to pay to YourDesign Store for customizing a product is termed as YourDesign Store Commission or YDS Commission. Apart from this amount, there is no compulsory payment or subscription to be paid to YourDesign Store.

Once you add a new product it will initially be in “Awaiting” status.





This means that the product has been added and is currently waiting for YourDesign Store to verify the details and update the YDS commission for the product. 
The quoted YDS commission from our side will include the following:

Blank Product Price

The blank product price is the cost of an un customized product.
This is fixed and can be viewed from the catalog.

Customization Charges

Printing:
The customization charge includes 2 parameters - Pre-treatment and Printing.

Pretreatment:
Pretreating is the process of preparing a garment for printing with white ink that utilizes pretreatment to prevent the absorption of it into the fibers.
The pretreatment fluid creates a chemical barrier on the garment that causes a chemical reaction when the white ink touches it that gels the bottom of the ink and allows it to sit on the top of the fibers to create a good underbase to print the CMYK inks on.

Here are the customization charges, including pre-treatment and printing:

Logo Size (Under 3.5 x 3.5 Inches) - Rs. 50
A5 Size (Under 6 x 8 Inches) - Rs. 90
A4 Size (Under 12 x 8 Inches) - Rs. 130
A3 Size (Under 12 x 17 Inches) - Rs. 180
A2 Size (Max Print 16 x 21 Inches) - Rs. 230

Embroidery:
The embroidery cost is standard based on size of embroidery.

Logo (Under 3.5 x 3.5 Inches) - Rs. 60
A5 (Under 6 x 7 Inches) - Rs. 140

Packaging Charges

Eco-Friendly Brown paper bags are used for packaging purposes.
A standard packing fee of Rs. 8 is charged for all products except Mugs and Posters.
Mugs are packed using thermocol molds at Rs. 20 each and posters in corrugated rolls at Rs. 40 each.

GST

A 5% GST is applicable for clothes below Rs. 1000 and above it, the GST would be 12%.
For mugs, caps and tote bags there is a 18% GST.
Posters are charged at 12% GST.

Adding these four costs, a final YDS commission is calculated. This is then updated under your product details.


Once the commission has been updated, the product will be accepted. You can see the YDS commission for each variant under Product Variants.
Based on YDS commission, you can adjust your profit margin and decide your selling price.
